It looks better than when I studied here 1978-1980. And that’s in spite of the hurricanes 🌀 that have studied here also. There is a building that was razed to the ground. It never should have been here and I’m glad to see it gone. …

I've died and come back to life a couple of times in this place. This is one of the best if not the best university in the island of Puerto Rico. The education isn't easy but that's not what you're looking for. It's ment to prepare the next generation of well rounded professionals. Inclusiveness and being yourself. That's what it's all about. ¡La iupi es la iupi!

Really neat campus. A bit run down from hurricanes and the Caribbean weather, but the architecture is cool.

My home. This place open the doors for me back in 2016 and sense then I’ve grown into the professional that I am today. I hope that the University of Puerto Rico can last forever because it’s truly the place that gave me EVERYTHING!

Good campus. I liked the architecture and the restaurants in the surrounding area. However, the restrooms are poorly maintained and are overdue for a cleaning. While I was only passing through the campus to reach a nearby town, the overall experience I had there was okay. Many of the buildings have vibrant colors schemes and it's interesting seeing the day to day life is students within the university.

Solid education , not easy to be accepted , and if you are fortunate to complete a college degree there you can have full confidence that the education you received there is good enough to achieve any other higher goal you put your mind on . It is my opinion, only . God bless the UPR

I did my master's degree there and it was a wounderful experience. It is one of the largest campuses in Puerto Rico, and it is recognized nationally and internationally as one of the best universities in Puerto Rico. Their library and online catalog has served me well. They have a large database that is useful for research and it is accesible to the public. I had access to many books, theses and articles. Also they have highly professional educators that come from various schools of thought. The architecture is very beautiful, especially in the tower. They have many recreational and educational spaces, such as the teather, a small museum and the student center. Their many praises also comes with a bit of criticisms. One criticism is their governance, for their decisions sometimes work for the detriment of the student body. Another is their parking space. It needs to be improved. All in all, the University of Puerto Rico in Río Piedras is a great place to be educated, even if it is only to use their library and database.

This is the first University of/in Puerto Rico and because of that, it has its fair share of historical landmarks. It's open to the public and it's generally a nice place to relax and explore. Bring a bike and ride through the campus!

Must admit I am impressed. All steps in the process, from admissions to classroom were smooth and easy going. Don't expect easy grades though proffesors mean business here. Buildings still going through repairs which is understandable with current events
